Then Contact Dulkal, an NGO Who Collects books for students in rural areas through its mobile libraries.

The NGO was set up in 2019 in Chennai with five members.
Their first project was in Annayeri village Tiruvanamalai followed by Vengalathur Government High School in Kanchipuram.
They collect books from donars and create some libraries in rural schools.
After lockdown they started mobile libraries where their volunteers take the books to rural homes for the children to read.

My Dad, my elder sister Vijayalakshmi ,her aunt Sabitha athai visited Anandam Trust  in Gangai Nagar,Kalikuppam ,Ambattur in Chennai this month - A Free Home For Senior Citizens.
Anandam Trust is a beautiful home filled with happy seniors ranging in age from 60  to 105.
They met the founder
Mrs.Bhageerathy Ramamoorthy, an angel on earth.
They had taken with them a cheque for Rs12000 from KG Family Group to sponsor 4 seniors for a month .
All the seniors are very happy . Most of them are actively participating in the daily chores: cleaning, sweeping, mopping , cooking etc
The Anandam home has Solar heaters and panels, Rain water harvesting, 2 bore pumps , industrial strength kitchen , spacious dormitories. They were all very heartening to see.
My dad and my sister  also visited the medical facility in the neighborhood from where free medical services are extended to the poor people in the vicinity.
There are 105 seniors but not all of them have sponsors
There are rooms allocated to give tuitions for children of low income groups in the neighborhood and also physiotherapy and occupational therapy for special needs kids
