They bring in support for the hospitalization (secondary & tertiary care) of the children admitted in pvt. hospitals and renting ventilators , lab support & medicines for the children of Government Hospitals on a long term basis so that a lot of poor children in the Govt. hospitals can be saved.
Paripoorna Bala Suraksha (PBS) is a Comprehensive Pediatric Health Coverage for very poor children in Chennai, Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram.

INW is a non commercial website that is a free online resource for nature lovers of all skill levels from beginners , to professionals.
The focus is on India.
On registering, users are given an email and a password. This allows them to log on and post pictures. Wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, office goers and students log on and share their experiences regularly. Users can showcase their images in the ‘Image Gallery Section'. Facts about blood needs
1.Every year our nation requires about 4 Crore units of blood, out of which only a meager 40 Lakh units of blood are available.
2.The gift of blood is the gift of life. There is no substitute for human blood.
3.Every two seconds someone needs blood.
4.More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day.
5.A total of 30 million blood components are transfused each year.
6.The average red blood cell transfusion is approximately 3 pints.
7.The blood type most often requested by hospitals is Type O.
8.Sickle cell patients can require frequent blood transfusions throughout their lives.
9.More than 1 million new people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, during their chemotherapy treatment.
10.A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 units of blood

5.The average adult has about 10 units of blood in his body. Roughly 1 unit is given during a donation.

FREE SAPLINGS IN CHENNAI BY TREE BANK OF INDIA

The Tree Bank of India, offers free saplings to anyone who cares to ask, looks for tree lovers in districts who heads the Green Ribbon Club. The bank trains teams in the essentials of ‘tree service’, including collecting seedlings, growing plants in them, transferring and protecting them with tree guards. They have gone to Nepal, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan to create such teams.If we get them tickets they come and do the service for free.
When someone expresses a desire to green up an area, TFF volunteers make a visit and inspect it for a few things like availability of water and a commitment to care for the planted trees. When convinced they go ahead and plant the saplings.
Rules and Regulations for Free supply of Saplings:
1.Saplings will not be supplied if MES wires with high tension is above the sapling planting area.
2.Saplings will not be supplied if telephone wires , metro pipes, EB cables and storage pipe lines are below the sapling planting area.
3.A letter is required mentioning the above criteria’s clearly.
4.Tree bank volunteers will survey the site for planting the Saplings.
5.A Sapling planting layout is required.
6.Permission letter from the panchayat or the corporation is required.
7.Letter from the committee or the association of the respective site promising that the planted Saplings will be maintainted the best level is required.
8. Tree Guards is must at the time of planting the saplings.
9. 2x2 Ft Hole is required to plant the saplings which will be done by the bearer of the saplings.
10. Free saplings will be provided only for the Govt. Land such as Schools, Park, Play Ground, Libraries, Hospitals etc..
11. The Nursery bags should be replaced to the Tree bank.
12. Transportation will be charged on the bearer.
13. Only Avenue trees are available.
14. Trees available only for members of the tree bank website.

Trees For Free (TFF) — the organisation has done inimitable work to restore Bangalore's reputation for fostering trees. People who want to plant trees inside their compound, on their roads and nearby schools etc., and who have no monitory support or do not have the know-how of planting can now contact their organisation and they plant it free for them.
Similarly, Corporates and green groups who want to plant, who can afford the expenses but do not know how and where to plant, can go to them. They will not only show them the place to plant -where it will be looked after, they will keep the place and the saplings ready for planting .The corporate company's representatives can come to the site of planting and plant it themselves.
