Vazhkai - NGO

Vazhai was founded by a group of First Generation College Graduates in April 2005 , who wanted to pay back to the society in terms of education, mentoring and guidance to children in remotest parts of Tamilnadu.

You can be a Mentor and a member of "Vazhkai" group

A Mentor is one who is Able to spend 12 days (6 weekends in a year) with the children in workshops.He stays in constant touch with the children through phone calls and letters.

Or if you like to be a Supporter ..

A Supporter is one who stands behind in all of our activities.
Help us in preparing materials and designing activities for the workshops.
Generate and/or contribute funds. Material purchase. Maintain website.Event coordination (for workshops)
Just spread a word about Vazhai to your friends and family and get more members.
Provides school supplies like notebooks,dictionaries,uniforms,bed sheets,footwear,pencil boxes,stationery items etc.
It is the cause that matters and not the medium.
